A/N : yeah I know many ppl will kill me for pairing Yamapi with a MoMusu girl LOL! but being fans of two groups I can’t help it! they will look great together ne? *runs*

“Ai-chan, Ai-chan! Hurry, it’s starting!” called out Niigaki Risa.

“Hai! Hai!” Takahashi Ai answered and sat next to her roommate in a big sofa at the dorm room they shared together. Being away from home, most of Morning Musume members from outside Tokyo have been accommodated in dormitory apartment that Tsunku-san provided, just in the building next the headquarter of Hello!Project office. 

In the TV screen appeared the logo and background music of famous music show called “MUSIC STATION” that aired in Asahi TV every Friday night. They were lucky that they didn’t have any work that time. It’s been a while for two of them relaxing and watching TV together. The MC later announced guests who would sing in the show.

“And for the girls, on his solo debut … Yamashita Tomohisa!” as the screen displayed Yamapi walking down the MS famous stairs.

“YAAAYYYYY!!!!” screamed out Risa loudly.

“Urusaiii!!” Ai closed her ears from hysterical Risa.

“Oh gawd, isn’t he gorgeous?” gushed Risa and glued her face in front of TV.

“Gaki! I can’t see! Get your ass from TV!” complained Ai and pulled the younger girl back to the sofa.

“Yamapi kakkoi na!” commented Risa.

“Kakkoi? Are you blind? Look at his horrible costume!”

“But Ai-chan, we often wear such things too!”

“Still too much for my eyes, the fur is too big, the skirt is too long, the vest is too low. In one word … it’s UGLY!”

“Oh well, but he’s still Yamapi, anything is good on him!” sighed Risa and ignored her ramblings.

“You are totally blind!” gave up Ai and continued watching the show. She felt disappointed to see how her boyfriend dares to wear such costume. Yes, no one knew that they have been dating secretly for almost 10 months, not even her mother! They agreed to keep their relationship for just two of them, he didn’t tell anyone either. They were idols after all, one from all boys agency and other from all girls agency, they couldn’t risk of losing their jobs if their agencies found out about their relationship. They met up for the first time at Music Station in year 2003, right after NEWS debuted, ever since then, they often bumped each other especially when their groups releasing singles or albums in the same time. But only last year when MoMusu promoted their single “Jiretai Iroppoi” and NEWS promoted “TEPPEN” their relationship began. It was Yamapi who made the first move (of course!). He asked his assistant to ask her number. 

The very next day, Ai received unregistered call on her cell phone, she was about to reject it but since she had no work that day, she decided to answer it, and was dead shock when she heard the name of the caller. She thought it was a joke until she really met him on the small-secluded café Yamapi suggested to meet up. Ai couldn’t believe that all this time Yamapi always had crush on her, she always admired him even before she entered MoMusu. She nodded shyly when Yamapi asked her to be his girlfriend, of course in secret. They hide their relationship off public perfectly, the only thing that kept them in touch was cell phone as both of them were always busy, although it was really hard to maintain such relationship, they were happy to hear each other voices everyday. Of course they sometimes met up if possible.

“Ohhh, that bitch Koda Kumi sat next to Yamapi! I’m fucking HATE her!” commented Risa that made Ai’s mind back into reality.

She continued watching the show and just laughed at her roommate’s possessive action toward her boyfriend.

“What?! Don’t laugh at me! Look how annoying she is!” 

“But you are so funny! She does nothing except sitting next to him!”

“Whatever! She better not touching Yamapi!” retorted Risa and gave Koda Kumi on TV her deadly glare.

Ai actually felt as nervous as Yamapi, he called her this morning worrying about the show, it would be his first time ever performing live all by himself. And Ai, being a supportive girlfriend, just reassured him to relax and told him everything would be just fine. But deep inside, she couldn’t help feeling worried about her boyfriend.

“Yama-kun, ganbatte ne!” whispered Ai to herself.

“Yay! Finally the boring talk is ended, and now we can see Yamapi in action!” cheered Risa happily. Ai just ignored her and concentrated her eyes on TV. The first and second verses were great, thought she could hear his voice was a bit shaky, she blushed when Yamapi started dancing the chorus lines, he told her that it’s gonna be a bit ero-ero dance routine. And she blushed even more when the camera was focusing on his chest.

“Oh gosh, could he be any hotter than that?” drooled Risa excitedly. Ai was a bit annoyed with her friend’s fangirl action and just want to scream, “Shut up! He’s my boyfriend!” but of course she couldn’t do that. So she just remained silent until … he accidentally touched the mic stand and made it fell to the floor. To make it even worst, he reacted quite quickly and happened to catch the mic leaving the lipsync part exposed in national TV as his voice was still singing the chorus while he was catching the mic from the floor.

“OHHH!” Ai was speechless, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened in shock, she could feel her body was getting weaker and her hands were trembling, she was really worried.

“EEEHHHHHH? He was lipsync?” shocked Risa. 

That moment, all Ai wanted was smacked her head and told her to shut the fuck up, but she managed to calm down herself. She was glad that Yamapi managed to finish the song smoothly thought his face expression could tell how upset he was. 

“WOW! That was surprising, if he didn’t drop the mic, we couldn’t tell he was lipsync.” said Risa in disappointed way. Ai had enough of her.

“I didn’t see anything wrong with that!” snapped Ai angrily.

“But every singer should sing live, Ai-chan! You know that!” argued Risa.

“He only did that for the chorus part, and I’m sure he had his own reason for it!” defended Ai.

“Oi chill out, what makes you so angry?” asked Risa curiously.

“Nothing!” Ai realized she might have said too much.

“Ahh, I know I know, you also like him?” nudged Risa mischievously. 

“Urusaiii!” Ai couldn’t hide her red face anymore, it’s a mixed between embarrassed and anger. She got up and went to her bedroom.

“Ai-chan, where are you going? Look, he said he would revenge for next week MS!” shouted Risa and only replied by the slam of the closing door.

Ai was upset, she knew that Risa didn’t mean anything bad, but if Risa could say such things, what about other people? She was afraid it would make him feeling down. She reached her cell phone from her bed. She doubted whether to call him or not. She really wanted to cheer him up. At the end she only wrote mail to him.

“Yama-kun ^o^ ! Don’t worry, you did great! Please call me! I’ll be waiting. Ai-chan.” 

She waited and waited, and still no call from him. She released a deep sigh, it’s not a new thing, whenever he was in a bad mood, he always needed time to be alone and she respected it. She was about to turn off the light and sleep when she heard the Doraemon ringtone was ringing, the name on the screen was displayed as “Chiba Boy”, it was from him. She grabbed it quickly.

“Moshi-moshi! Yama-kun?” 

“Ai-chan gomen, I only can call now.”

“It’s ok! How’s your feeling?”

“Awful! I feel like I want to sink into the ocean and never come back! I’m so embarrassed!”

“It’s not that bad, you did well!” 

“I didn’t! I humiliated myself in national TV!” frowned Yamapi.

“No one realized it.” she cheered him up.

“I was practically diving to the floor and now everyone know I was lipsync!” he said in despair.

“No big deal … everyone else also doing that!”

“You don’t understand! You have no problem with your voice, you never lipsync before!”

“Well yeah, but …” 

“So don’t say it’s not a big deal! Forget it, I shouldn’t call you at the first place, it makes me feel worst!”

“Hey, don’t throw your anger to me!”

“Fine!”

“Fine!” then he hung up the phone. 

Ai couldn’t help her tears no more, it was their first big fight ever, and she hated it. She wondered if she could keep their relationship, it was hard enough to hide it from everyone, even her own mother! And now she must deal with his childish act too. His pride was too high and Ai tried so hard to adjust it, but that night she had enough. She wrote another mail for him, the last mail from her.

“Yama-kun, I’m sorry, I can’t take it anymore, we are over. Ai”

Yamapi read it in the morning, as he turned off his phone right after he ended their conversation last night. He was surprised with the message. He was disappointed that Ai was too emotional. She should know his personality well, but was he too selfish? He began to question himself. He shook his head, still couldn’t believe that she dumped him, he, Yamashita Tomohisa, the most popular NEWS member that millions of girls idolized. Again, his self pride over controlled his mind. 

“Whatever! I can get a new girlfriend anytime that I want!” he mumbled, and looked around his messy room and decided to clean it a bit. Yeah, morning clean would heal my broken heart, he thought. He began collecting his clothes from all over the room and all the sudden he found a pictorial book. Her “19” pictorial book that she gave him on his 21st birthday. He was about to dump it on the trashcan but then he decided to take a last look. His hand flipped the book. And his heart was pounding each time he saw her pictures, and her smile melted his pride. He closed the book and finally realized he didn’t want to lose her. He grabbed his keys and run to his car. He must win her heart back.

He arrived in front of the dormitory flat of Hello! Project and felt really nervous. He was afraid Ai would never forgive him. He reached his cell phone and pressed 9, it’s a speed dial for her as “Fukui Girl” displayed on the screen. He waited for the dialing tone, but after few seconds, he only received the reject tone. He sighed, it’s normal if she was still upset with me, he thought. But then he decided his mind, he put on hat, sunglasses and scarf. Even if it’s still morning, the risk of paparazzi caught him was still high. 

Then he finally realized how he supposed to enter the building without anyone know? He spotted a girl walking out from it, and he knew it’s one of the MoMusu girls, he hoped he got the right girl. Ai once mentioned that she shared a room with Niigaki Risa. But at this rate he couldn’t remember which one was Risa! He hesitantly walked toward her.

“Anoo, are you Niigaki Risa?” once he faced her.

“Y-yes, why?” 

“Yokatta!” Yamapi was relieved, he caught the right girl after all. Risa began to wonder who the hell this weird guy in front of her, a stalker?

“Please do not scream …” he opened his sunglasses. 

“USSOOOOOO!!!” shrieked Risa in shock.

“Psssttt, I need your help!” he put his index finger in front of his lips. Risa who was still in state of shock just nodded, she followed him to quieter area. He whispered to her and her eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled and nodded happily.

“Unn! Wakarimashita! Please follow me!” instructed Risa. Yamapi put on his sunglasses again, and they walked to the dorm building. 

“Hello Fuji-san! He’s my cousin from Kanagawa,” said Risa cheerfully when they passed the security guard. He just nodded and let them in.

“Phew, arigatou, Niigaki-san, I owe you!” said Yamapi in relief tone.

“Just call me Gaki! The other girls call me that way, oh except Ishikawa-san, she called me Mame, I wonder why? Can I call you Yamapi?” babbled Risa. Somehow they way she talked just reminded him of Tegoshi.

“Sure, anything Gaki-san!” smiled Yamapi widely.

“Pssttt, don’t make any noise, the other girls might wake up and see you here!” hushed Risa and placed her index finger in her lips. 

“Now, look who’s talking?” frowned Yamapi in his mind. 

They walked tiptoed to her room that she shared with Ai. Once they arrived, Risa opened the door with her key, and went inside first. 

“All clear up! She’s in her room, just go there, I will be waiting here!” she came back and grinned mischievously, not to forget the peace sign on both of her hands.

“Thanks, Gaki-san!” Yamapi smiled nervously. He opened his sunglasses and took a deep breath before he knocked on her door. After few knocks, finally she opened it.

“What Gaki? You said you want to take a stroll out and …” Ai stopped and her eyes expanded as she saw the tall figure in front of her.

“Ai-chan, I need to talk with you.” and only replied by the slam of the closing door. She was too shocked to see him, there in her own apartment! 

“How possible? And no, he just saw me with this old dirty pajama! And messy hair!!! NOOOOO!!!” she shook her head in despair.

“Ai-chan, please! Open the door, I really need to talk with you!” as Yamapi knocked her door again. Ai knew she couldn’t escape from reality, she took a glance at the mirror and brushed her hair with her hands before opening the door of the second time. 

“Finally! Can I come in?” asked Yamapi in relief tone. She only nodded and let him in.

“Nice room!” he commented as he observed her room, it’s obviously a girl room, with mostly soft yellow color domination. He smiled widely when he found the soft pink heart plushie that he won for her at a game center in her bed.

“So what do you want? Didn’t you read my mail? We are over!” began Ai as she crossed her hands, definitely still upset.

Yamapi thought how cute she was with her current state, no make up, oversized pajama, and messy hair. But he wasn’t there to say how cute she was but to safe this relationship.

“Ai-chan please, don’t make any emotional decision! I was being a jerk last night, we can work this out!” pleaded Yamapi and tried to reach her hand. She stepped back.

“No, I’m tired, Yama-kun! I don’t think this relationship will work! I’m tired hiding!”

“So you want to publish it to the world? Do it! I’m willing to give up everything if I could win you back!”

“You can’t be serious!”

“I am serious! And I can prove it to you!” he walked to her window, opened it and …

“AI-CHANNN, DAISUUU…” he couldn’t finish the “daisuki” word as Ai stopped him by held up his mouth and pulled him back.
“Are you crazy?” she began to panic.

“I’m going crazy if you don’t forgive me!”

“Ok ok! I give up! We can continue this relationship, but in one condition!”

“Whatever it is, I’m ready!”

“Let me tell my mother!” Yamapi laughed, he thought she was asking for anything extreme like quitting Johnny’s or something like that.

“It’s not funny! My mother needs to know!” pouted Ai.

“Of course! I can’t wait to meet her!”

“Perfect! And oh, one more thing!”

“Hey you cheat, you said only one condition!” protested Yamapi.

“This is the most important, so you better listen carefully! I don’t care what people say about you after last night blunder you made on MS! So cheer up! You don’t kill anyone, it’s just a mistake and I’m sure you regret it, but move on and head up! People learn from mistake! Don’t give up and I will support you no matter what!” she finished her speech and hugged him. Yamapi was really touched, he felt so lucky to have a great girlfriend like her.

“Ai-chan, arigatou!” he held her chin up and kissed her gently. She responded and crossed her hands behind his neck.

“Ahh, we should get out from here before Gaki thinks we do kinky stuff here!” blushed Ai after he released the kiss.

“I don’t mind that idea!” grinned Yamapi.

“Hentai!” she smacked his head and later pushed him out from the room and found Risa outside sitting on the sofa, obviously trying to hide her curiosity by reading a newspaper.

“Ahhh finally, you guys kiss and make up?” when she found them holding hands.

“Ehhh, how did you know?” blushed Ai.

“Really? Kiss? Mou, Ai-chan, I envy you much!” pouted Risa.

“Gaki-san, really thank you for your big help, if not, I would lose her forever.” thanked Yamapi humbly.

“Glad I can help, please treasure what you have, Yamapi-san! She’s precious!”

“Yes, I will! Thanks once again! Is there anything I can do in return?”

“Oh, can you kiss me too?” and got a deadly glare from Ai.

“Uso! Uso! I was kidding! In matter of fact, yes I need your help on something!”

“Sure, what is it?”

“Can you tell me Tegoshi’s mail address and phone number?” she asked shyly.

“What? I thought you liked Ryo more than him?” surprised Ai.

“Well, Ryo is hot, but Tegoshi is so cuteeeeeee!!” gushed Risa.

“In that case, anything to keep your mouth shut up, Gaki-san!” smiled Yamapi and scribbled number and mail address on a paper.

“Yay, I love this kind of bribe so much!! I will start charming myself to him now!” said Risa happily after getting the paper and run to her bedroom.

“Poor Tegoshi!” sighed Ai and followed by Yamapi’s laugh.

Well, small matter could turn into big if you made a fuss about it. Yamapi realized he’s not perfect but he will keep on practicing to be better and he was happy to have a great girlfriend who would always stay by his side supporting him.

ps : yeah, lame title, I usually always used Yamapi’s song titles, but this time I can’t fit the story with any of his remaining song titles LOL! so bear the crap title here!
